I love summer..the excitement in the air is infectious. The sun greets us with a warm kiss as early as 5am and leaves our horizon at 7pm. The smell of a braai in the air reminds you that the holidays are here. From the time i awake, thoughts of lunch consume me. What am i feasting on today? which of my favourite people am i feasting with? and where? The bounty of seasonal vegetables and fruits makes my feasting choices so easy and inexpensive. Lunch is filled with salad meals, fresh fruits and tea cocktails, mostly at the park, a friends garden or poolside. I love days like these...here comes the sun..i love the sun..
